“August 2023 The Dawnview Enclosure and neighboring Germiston suburbs were without water and electricity for 7 days. My initial reaction was that of anger, but this gradually changed to depression as there was no TV, no music, no news, and no hot showers.Despite the fact that I had 5,000 liters of water in two tanks outside, I could not use that water as the pump, which pumped the water into the house, worked on electricity. Also, nights of darkness were particularly unnerving as one didn’t know who was prowling around the vicinity. The last straw for me was when the battery of my gate packed up because it hadn’t been charged for seven days. When power was restored, I turned to Jade of Gautronics for assistance with the gate battery. While he was replacing it, I noticed the sign on his van saying that Gautronics also installed solar power. I asked him for a quote to do my whole property, and within a day, Gautronics came back to me. I didn’t hesitate to accept it, as the quote was most reasonable. This is to record my satisfaction with Gautronics for the design, supply and installation of 14 PVC 460w panels of the JA Solar Half – cell type on the selected 3 roofs of my house at River Club. It included the 2 x 5.12 Kwh Sunsynk Batteries complete with the Sunsynk Hybrid Inverter. The selection of the spot and the program for the supply and installation were done timeously. The commissioning and acceptance certificate were done successfully. The certificate of Compliance with the User Manual, the Distribution Board labelling for the 3 sources of power suppliers namely, Solar, Eskom and Generator were followed two weeks later after a satisfactory test run of the whole system. The power supply was done through 3 Distribution boards for the Main House, Cottage and Staff Quarter. I am very happy to refer Gautronics and their honest, knowledgeable and hard-working team that does a professional job in the field of Solar Power installation.
