#1. Assessment and Planning

Needs Assessment:

– Gautronics will conduct a thorough evaluation of your property to determine the specific areas that need monitoring.

– We’ll choose between indoor and outdoor cameras based on their respective locations.

– We’ll determine the optimal number of cameras required for comprehensive coverage.

Camera Selection:

–  Bullet Cameras: Ideal for long-distance viewing.

– Dome Cameras: Suitable for wide-angle coverage.

– PTZ Cameras: Allow pan, tilt, and zoom for extensive coverage.

Recording System:

– We’ll recommend either a DVR (Digital Video Recorder) for analog cameras or an NVR (Network Video Recorder) for IP cameras based on your needs.

Storage Planning:

– Gautronics will calculate the necessary storage capacity, considering camera resolution, number of cameras, and the desired retention period.

– DVR/NVR with installed hard drive

– Appropriate cables (Coaxial for DVR, Ethernet for NVR)

Optimal Positioning:

– We’ll avoid direct exposure to strong light sources to prevent glare.

– Outdoor cameras will be placed under eaves or other protective structures to shield from weather conditions.

  1. Cabling

DVR Systems:

– Gautronics will use high-quality coaxial cables (RG59) to connect cameras to the DVR.

– Power cables will be run from each camera to a reliable power source.

NVR Systems:

– Ethernet cables (Cat5e or Cat6) will be used to connect IP cameras to the NVR.

– PoE (Power over Ethernet) cameras will receive power through these Ethernet cables.

Cable Management:

– Cables will be neatly secured and concealed using cable clips and conduits.

– Each cable will be labeled for easy identification.

  1. DVR/NVR Setup

Camera Connections:

– Cameras will be connected to the DVR/NVR.

– If necessary, our team will install the hard drive in the DVR/NVR.
